The FleekDash V2 Timeline

After showcasing version 1.0 for the first time to an external audience (outside of our usual agency clients), the feedback was clear: this had potential. So we decided to go all in. Here’s our progress in March 2025:

✅ Figma design fully done for all the FleekDash component pieces

We’ve redesigned the dashboard for a cleaner and more intuitive user experience across all devices. During the process, we shared the initial design concepts with the community, receiving incredible feedback and support.

✅ Figma-to-React: Bringing Designs to Life

After shaping the vision in Figma, we started the meticulous process of translating each component into functional, reusable React elements. Typography, spacing, responsiveness, dark mode — everything had to feel just right. This stage laid the foundation for our entire UI system.

✅ Resolved the chart saga

We were looking for a Canvas charting solution, that is designed for enterprise-level performance with large datasets. ECharts, the fastest library we knew, seemed perfect. But once we plugged it into React, it became a nightmare — buggy updates, large build, and plenty of frustration.

After days of tweaking things, we gave up and switched to a custom alternative created with Visx by AirBNB, a low-level visualization primitive for React. To our surprise, it turned out to be a better fit: easier to integrate, fully React native, and visually sharp.

We started building Fleekdash V2 core from the ground up using a modern tech stack, focusing on speed and a seamless user experience.

✅ Components crafted using a modern stack: React, TypeScript, and TailwindCSS 4.

Our goal? Bring a breathtaking experience to WordPress — in a beautiful, modern, ultra-fast, fully customizable app with no ceiling for expansion.

✅ Workspaces & Window Isolation Concept

We tackled a classic issue in WP admin themes: style conflicts with third-party plugins. Unverified plugins now run in a sandboxed environment — no style leaks, no conflicts.

🧪 Plugin Conflict Testing — the Hard Way

We learned (the hard way) that many WP plugins inject styles and scripts unpredictably. One plugin even overwrote our entire dashboard font.

That led to the creation of the workspace isolation layer — a major architectural shift, but one that solved this problem for good. What started as chaos turned into one of our best features.

Our first MVP was fast, beautiful, and fun to use — but the bundle was heavier than expected. So we took a step back to rethink the architecture.

✅ UI Expansion Phase

With the core in place, we'll plug in the rest of our beautiful UI:

• Custom login

• CMDK-style command menu

• Two stunning themes

• Animated charts

🎯 UI Kit Scope Creep

We initially wanted to launch with 5 themes, fully animated components, and multiple layout presets. Turns out, this would delay everything by at least 2 months. We narrowed the focus to 2 solid themes and only the most essential animated UI elements — just enough to impress, without blocking the roadmap.

We’re wrapping up the developer layer that’ll enable Fleekdash to support lightweight, yet powerful, custom integrations and mini-apps.

Each integration runs as a MU plugin, fully managed through Fleekdash’s dashboard.
No unnecessary bloat — only load what you need.

🧩 What Are Fleekdash Mini Apps?

Mini Apps are compact, standalone applications designed to operate within the FleekDash environment or in the cloud, seamlessly connected to FleekDash via REST APIs — kind of like native "apps within the app." Each Mini App is a modular feature or integration, built as a MU (Must-Use) plugin that can be installed, activated, or deactivated independently via the Fleekdash dashboard.

Some examples of what a Mini App could be:

• A custom analytics dashboard for WooCommerce

• A content calendar with team notes

• A social media auto-poster

• An SEO audit tool

• A live chat integration panel

Why we’re building it this way:

• 🚀 Performance-focused: Each Mini App runs in isolation, keeping the core dashboard ultra-fast.

• 🛠️ Dev-friendly: Devs can build and distribute their own Mini Apps using our upcoming SDK and API.

• 🔒 Scoped & secure: No interference with other parts of the site or with WordPress core.

This makes Fleekdash more than just a pretty UI — it's a platform that grows with you, and that can evolve into a custom control center tailored to each project's needs.

🗓️ July 1–8, 2025 – Agency Unlimited Plan Closing

We’re officially closing the “Unlimited Sites” lifetime plan. It’s a tough call, but an essential one — unlimited licenses just aren’t scalable long-term.

Good news: if you grabbed it already, you're grandfathered in forever. No changes, no surprises — just our sincere thanks for supporting Fleekdash early on.

🗓️ July 17, 2025 – Public Beta Launch

🚀 The big moment: Fleekdash becomes public! We’re launching with a rock-solid core, sleek UI, and our very first Power-Up — the AI Assistant.

This is our first open test with a larger user base, and your feedback will directly shape the roadmap ahead.

🗓️ July 31, 2025 – Discount Drop

This is your heads-up: our launch promo ends this month. The 50% lifetime discount drops to 40% (or maybe 30%—we're still figuring it out) starting August. Still a great deal, but if you want the best offer we’ll ever do — now’s the time.

August/2025 marks the launch of our long-awaited browser extension — powered by the Fleekdash API for a seamless offline+online experience. It's the part we're most excited to get to, by the way.

☁️ Fleekdash Cloud for Agencies

Still in August, the plan is to kick off the launch plans for FleekDash Cloud, focusing on rolling out a massive campaign for Black Friday. We’ll turn the internal cloud app we’ve been using for years into a real product.

You’ll be able to:

• Remotely manage client sites

• Activate/deactivate plugins and integrations

• Manage content from one dashboard

• And much more
