Pick today, last 7 days, this month, or any custom span without hitting arbitrary limits (infinite-style selection across the calendar). When you move the range, charts react immediately, so exploration stays in flow instead of waiting on spinners.
Later v2 work layers stronger analytics caching and explicit refresh on top of this picker, same interaction model, deeper plumbing underneath.
