Triage in one place
When you open the Notification Center (bell or user menu → Notifications):
List of alerts – Alerts are shown in one list (newest first or by priority, depending on implementation). Each item usually shows: type (e.g. comment, update, error), short title or message, and optional time or source.
Actions from the center – Depending on the alert type, you may see actions such as:
Open or View – Navigate to the relevant screen (e.g. Comment Manager for a pending comment, Plugins for an update).
Approve / Dismiss / Resolve – Act on the alert without leaving the list (e.g. approve a comment, mark as read).
Clear or Dismiss – Remove the alert from the list so the center stays relevant.
Empty state – When there are no alerts, the center may show an empty state (e.g. "No new notifications" or "You're all caught up").
Badge – The bell (or menu item) may show a badge or count of unread or pending alerts so you know at a glance that something needs attention.
Benefit: Triage in one place. See what matters and act or clear without opening multiple screens.
