Language Management

Your language, your accessibility

Language Management makes FleekDash work for more users and more contexts:

  • Your language – Use FleekDash in your language. Multiple languages with translation support so the admin fits your locale and your team. Switch language from the user menu; the UI updates without a full page reload (in-place).

  • RTL layout (planned) – Full right-to-left shell mirroring for Arabic, Hebrew, and similar locales is on the roadmap (not shipped yet). See RTL layout (planned). Language switching for translated strings is available today.

  • Built for accessKeyboard navigation, focus management, and screen-reader-friendly patterns are part of the default experience. You don't turn "accessibility" on. It's built in so the admin works for keyboard users and assistive tech from the start.

  • For everyone, everywhere – International teams and clients can work in their language; power users and users who need access can use the keyboard and assistive technology. One admin that scales.

Benefits in short:

  • Switch language from the user menu; UI updates in place.

  • RTL shell mirroring is planned (locale strings can still use RTL languages today).

  • Full keyboard support and visible focus; semantic structure for screen readers.

Language customization and in-place locale switch

How to access

  • Change language: Open the user menu (bottom of sidebar: your avatar and name). In the popover, click Language (or "Language"). A language panel or drawer opens. Select your language and apply; the interface updates to that locale. You stay on the same page (in-place). Some builds may offer a dedicated Language or Translations screen (e.g. from Settings or sidebar).

  • Edit translations (if available): If your FleekDash version includes a translations or PO editor screen, you can open it from Settings, a Language management screen, or a "Edit translations" entry. There you can view or edit strings for a locale (exact location depends on your build).

  • Accessibility: No separate "turn on accessibility" step. Keyboard navigation, focus order, and screen-reader-friendly patterns are always on. Use Tab to move focus, Enter or Space to activate controls; focus is visible (e.g. focus ring).
