Language Management: Step-by-step workflows

Common tasks, step by step

Switch language

  1. Open the user menu (avatar/name at the bottom of the sidebar). Click Language.

  2. In the language panel or drawer, select the desired language (e.g. Español, Français).

  3. Click Apply (or Save). The UI updates to that language. Close the panel. You're still on the same page (e.g. Dashboard).

Use the admin with the keyboard

  1. Tab through the interface. Focus moves in a logical order; the focused element shows a focus ring.

  2. Use Enter or Space to activate buttons and controls. Open menus with Enter or Space, then arrow keys to move, Enter to select.

  3. Navigate and act without the mouse. Built for power users and access.

Work in RTL

  1. Pick an RTL locale: set the WordPress site language, or open the user menuLanguage and choose a language such as Arabic for your own account.

  2. The FleekDash shell mirrors automatically: sidebar, menus, drawers, grids, and directional icons flip to right-to-left reading order. No reload needed.

  3. To go back, switch to an LTR locale the same way. See RTL layout.

Edit translations

  1. Open the user menuLanguageLanguage Management drawer.

  2. Select a locale to see its strings. Filter by Translated, Untranslated, or Edited, and search for the text you want.

  3. Edit the translation inline and Save. The updated string is used whenever that locale is active. Use Export to save your overrides, Import to apply them on another site, or Send to FleekDash to submit them upstream.
