FleekDash loads the WordPress admin as a single-page application. If the JavaScript files do not finish loading in time, or if a browser cache, CDN cache, or another admin plugin blocks the process, a recovery message appears:
"FleekDash admin shell did not finish loading."
This is a safety fallback, not a crash. It means the admin shell could not start, usually for a temporary or environmental reason. The steps below resolve almost all cases.
Quick fixes to try first
Hard refresh the page. Press Ctrl + Shift + R (Windows) or Cmd + Shift + R (Mac), or open the page in a private/incognito window.
Clear your browser cache for the site, especially if you just updated FleekDash or WordPress.
Clear any caching layer. If you use a caching or CDN plugin — such as WP Rocket, LiteSpeed Cache, FlyingPress, Cloudflare, or a server-level cache — clear its cache and disable it temporarily while testing.
Try again after an update. If the issue started right after an update, wait a few seconds and hard refresh again. FleekDash may be finishing a background cache clear.
Admin plugins that can conflict
FleekDash replaces the WordPress admin experience. Plugins that modify the admin area — even if they do not change the visible interface — can conflict with FleekDash while it is loading.
Examples of plugins that are known to cause this in some setups:
Admin and Site Enhancements (ASE)
Admin Menu Editor
Ultimate Dashboard
Adminimize
WP Admin UI Customize
Custom Dashboard Widgets
Any plugin that adds admin scripts, hides menu items, or rewrites admin URLs
How to test for a conflict:
Deactivate these plugins.
Refresh the FleekDash page.
If FleekDash loads, reactivate the other plugins one by one until you find the one causing the issue.
You can keep that plugin active; just make sure it is disabled the first time you open FleekDash after an update, then re-enable it normally.
Still not working?
If the message keeps appearing, contact support with the following:
The URL where it happens.
Browser console logs (press F12, open the Console tab, then reload the page).
The name and version of any caching or admin customization plugins active on the site.
Whether the issue also happens in an incognito/private window.
With that information we can investigate the exact cause.
Quick answer for clients
You can copy and share this summary:
"FleekDash admin shell did not finish loading" is usually a temporary loading issue. Clear your browser cache, clear any caching or CDN plugin cache, and try again in an incognito window. If the problem continues, temporarily disable admin customization plugins such as ASE, Admin Menu Editor, or Ultimate Dashboard, then re-enable them one by one. If the issue still happens, contact support with the page URL and browser console logs.
