Fleek Labs (experimental features)

Try what's next without risking production

The Fleek Labs panel (#/settings/labs) is where experimental and beta features live.

Experimental features

Each Labs feature is listed with a short description, a Beta badge where applicable, and a toggle:

  • Turn a feature on to use it in your environment, or off to go back to the stable set. Changes apply after saving.

  • Features show whether they are included in your plan. Toggling one that your plan does not include warns you instead of silently failing.

  • Only users with access to Settings see and control these toggles, so you can try new features without enabling them for everyone.

Early Access (pre-release updates)

The Labs page also hosts the Pre-release updates card:

  • Early Access: get FleekDash builds before public release.

  • Pre-release toggle: when enabled, pre-release builds show up in the regular WordPress updates screen, so updating works exactly like a normal plugin update.

  • Disable it any time to return to stable-only updates.

Safe experimentation

Use Labs on staging or with power users first if you want to be cautious. Experimental features may change or have bugs. Disabling a feature returns you to the stable set.
