In-Place Editor

Edit where you are

The In-Place Editor is not one screen. It's the way FleekDash is built: you edit things where you are, without full-page loads or losing your place. Change language, growth goals, users, menu, or theme from sidebars, drawers, and inline panels while you stay on the same screen. No "Settings → full page → change one thing → where was I?" Just edit and keep working.

What you get:

  • Edit in place. Never leave your flow – The dashboard (and posts, media, settings, etc.) stays visible. You open a panel or drawer, make a change, save, and close. You're still on the same view. No context switching, no losing scroll position or open tabs.

  • Zero page-load editing – These edits use API calls and client-side updates. The browser does not do a full page reload. Inline and sidebar editing keep you in flow so you spend time doing, not navigating.

  • Same pattern everywhere – Content grid (inline cells), theme and brand (drawer), appearance (settings panel), language (panel), growth (dashboard widget), users (drawer), menu (builder), column manager (panel), media (detail panel). All follow the same idea: edit here, stay here.

Benefits in short:

  • Stay on the same screen; no full reload when you change settings or content.

  • Less context switching and re-orienting; higher productivity.

  • Clients and teams can make small edits (language, menu, theme) without getting lost in a settings maze.

  • One consistent mental model: open the right panel or use the inline control, edit, save, close. You're still where you were.

There is no single "In-Place Editor" URL. You use it wherever you see inline controls, panels, or drawers. See What "in-place" means and Where in-place editing appears for details.
