Step-by-step workflows

Common tasks, step by step

Open the assistant and ask for a title idea

  1. Go to a post you're editing (or open the assistant from the post screen). Open the AI Assistant (sidebar AI Assistant or header AI icon or Command Bar → "Open AI Assistant").

  2. In the chat, type: "Suggest a title for this post." (If context is sent, the assistant sees the post.) Send the message.

  3. The assistant replies with one or more title suggestions. Copy the one you like into the post title field, or use an Apply action if the UI offers it for this response.

Draft a comment reply with AI

  1. In Comment Manager (#/comments), find the comment you want to reply to. Click Reply (or "Reply with AI" if available). The reply modal may open with an option to use AI; or open the AI Assistant (modal or page) and ensure the comment is in context (e.g. opened from that comment).

  2. In the assistant, ask: "Draft a reply to this comment." Send. The assistant returns a suggested reply.

  3. Copy the reply into the Comment Manager reply field, or use the in-context "Insert" if available. Edit if needed and submit.

Create a new thread and get a post outline

  1. Open AI Assistant (#/ai-assistant). In the thread list, click New chat (or equivalent) to start a new thread.

  2. In the chat, type: "Give me an outline for a blog post about [topic]." Send. The assistant returns an outline (headings, bullets).

  3. Use the outline in your post editor (copy or apply via artifact if supported). You can ask follow-up questions in the same thread (e.g. "Expand the first section").

Fix "AI Provider Not Active"

  1. On the AI Assistant page, if you see "AI Provider Not Active", click Go to AI Assistant Settings (or go to #/settings/ai).

  2. In Settings → AI, add or select an AI provider (e.g. OpenAI), enter your API key (or connection details), and save. Activate the provider if there's an explicit toggle.

  3. Return to AI Assistant (#/ai-assistant). The chat should load; you can send messages.
