Common tasks, step by step

Set up a custom login page for the first time

1. Open Settings then Login (#/settings/login).

2. In Login Page, either select an existing page (e.g. a page with slug sign-in) or create a new page (enter a slug like login and click Create).

3. In Template, choose Split Screen or Standard.

4. If Split Screen: choose Right or Left for the login area, and optionally upload a custom illustration.

5. In Login Persistence, set Remember Me default and Duration as desired.

6. Optionally enable Demo Access and Select Demo User.

7. Click Save. Visit the Current Login URL to see your custom login page.

Change the login page layout

1. Open Settings then Login (#/settings/login).

2. In Template, switch between Split Screen and Standard.

3. If Split Screen: adjust Login Area Position and Custom Illustration.

4. Click Save. Reload the login page to see the new layout.

Enable demo access for a presentation

1. Open Settings then Login (#/settings/login).

2. Check Enable Demo Access.

3. In Select Demo User, search and choose an admin user (e.g. your demo account).

4. Click Save. The login page now shows a demo login option.

5. When the presentation is over, uncheck Enable Demo Access and Save.

Adjust session duration

1. Open Settings then Login (#/settings/login).

2. In Login Persistence, change Remember Me Duration (e.g. from 2 Weeks to 1 Month).

3. Optionally check Check "Remember Me" by default if you want most users to stay logged in longer.

4. Click Save. New logins use the new duration; existing sessions are unchanged until they expire.
