Every update has an undo button
A bad update used to mean FTP, manual ZIPs, and a broken site while you worked. One-Click Rollback turns every plugin, theme, and WordPress core update into something reversible. Restore an earlier version in one click, right where the update lives.
Other rollback tools only cover plugins. FleekDash rolls back plugins, themes, and WordPress itself. For plugins, it rolls forward too, so you can jump past a broken release instead of going back.
Plugins: open the details sheet, pick the version you want, done.
Themes: same rollback modal on the Updates page, same one-click flow.
WordPress core: reinstall the current version or step back to a previous release using the same guarded flow.
Bad update? Restore it in one click
Open Updates (#/updates) and find the plugin, theme, or core card.
For WordPress core, click Rollback. For a plugin or theme, open the item's details and select Rollback, then pick a version from the picker. FleekDash restores that release and the item shows as updated.
No FTP, no file manager, no manual ZIPs. FleekDash fetches the exact release from the hosted WordPress.org version catalog when there is no local backup to use.
Update fearlessly: roll back anything
For plugins, rollback isn't only for downgrades. Because FleekDash pulls from the WordPress.org catalog, you can pick any hosted plugin version, newer or older:
Plugins: downgrade a bad release or roll forward past a broken version without waiting for a fix.
Themes: choose an earlier hosted release from the rollback modal. Keeping a backup of the current version is optional.
WordPress core: reinstall the current version or step back to an older release when files get corrupted.
Safety built in
Rollback runs through the same guarded job pipeline as updates, so restores can't corrupt the site or fight each other:
Backups: a rollback uses a local previous-version backup when one is available. Backups aren't guaranteed for ordinary plugin updates or plugin ZIP overwrites, and keeping a theme backup is optional. When no local backup exists, FleekDash restores from the hosted catalog.
WordPress.org identity checks: restores verify the plugin or theme actually came from WordPress.org before using the hosted catalog, so custom or private packages are never overwritten by a lookalike.
Version safety checks: the picker only lists versions that are actually installable for your site, including the right handling for plugin releases marked as patches.
Job locks: rollback jobs use an item lock to prevent overlapping rollback jobs for the same item.
How to access
Updates page: #/updates: the WordPress Core card exposes Rollback directly.
Plugin/theme details sheet: open the item's details, select Rollback, and pick the target version from the version popover.
