Step-by-step workflows

Common tasks, step by step

Minimize a page and restore it later

  1. Open a page that has window controls (e.g. go to Posts in WP mode so you're on #/wp/edit.php?post_type=post).

  2. Click Minimize in the window controls (or press Alt+M). The page is added to the list and the app goes to #/minimized-windows.

  3. On the Minimized Windows page, find the card for that page. Click Restore (or the card) to open that URL again. You're back on the same screen.

Pin a window so it survives "Clear all"

  1. On the Minimized Windows page, find the card you want to keep.

  2. Click Pin (or the favorite icon). The window is marked as favorite.

  3. Click Clear all. Only non-pinned windows are removed; your pinned window stays. You can restore it anytime.

Reorder minimized windows

  1. Go to #/minimized-windows.

  2. Drag a card to a new position. Drop it. The list reorders and the new order is saved.

  3. Next time you open the page, the order is the same.

Close a single minimized window

  1. On the Minimized Windows page, find the card you don't need.

  2. Click Close (or the remove action) on that card. The window is removed from the list. If it was the last one and not pinned, you may be redirected to the dashboard or previous route.
