Menu items missing or wrong – Ensure the menu API is returning data (check network tab for the menu endpoint). Use Reset Menu in the sidebar (or Clear cache / Reset in Menu Management) to force a fresh load. If you use role simulation, switch back to your real role to see your full menu.
WP mode shows blank or error – The iframe loads a WordPress URL; if that URL requires login or returns an error, the iframe will show it. Ensure you're logged in and the WordPress URL is correct. Try opening the same URL in a new tab (e.g. wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=post) to confirm it works.
Reorder or rename not sticking – Overrides must be saved (the drawer or context usually saves on change or on close). If you have "Reset to default" or "Reset Menu," that clears overrides. Check that you're not resetting by accident. If overrides are stored per role, ensure you're viewing the menu as the right role.
Sidebar collapsed and I can't find the trigger – On small screens, use the hamburger in the header to open the sidebar. If "auto-hide" is on, move the mouse to the left edge of the window; the sidebar slides in. You can turn off auto-hide in the sidebar settings (gear) popover.
Admin bar doesn't match theme – Go to Settings → Admin Bar and set Admin bar theme to Auto so it follows the interface theme (light/dark). Or set it explicitly to Light or Dark.
Menu Management drawer doesn't open – Confirm you're clicking Menu (or the equivalent) in the user menu at the bottom of the sidebar. If the entry is missing, check permissions or feature flags; some roles may not have access to menu management.

Shortcuts
Available on every sidebar item (main items, submenus, collapsed popover items). Added in 2.6.3.
Click and hold means pressing the mouse button on a menu item and keeping it down for about 750 ms before release. Same idea as long press on a touchscreen, but with a mouse or trackpad.
| Action | Result |
Click | Open that screen inside the FleekDash window (same browser tab) |
Ctrl/Cmd + click | Open the same FleekDash route in a new tab |
Click and hold (~750 ms) | Open that WordPress screen in a new browser tab (not inside the FleekDash window) |
Ctrl/Cmd + click and hold | Open native classic wp-admin for that item (fleekdash=off) in a new tab |
Middle-click | Same as click and hold: new browser tab, outside the FleekDash window |
Use click for everyday in-shell navigation. Use click and hold or middle-click to open full WordPress admin in its own tab while FleekDash stays open in the current tab. Use Ctrl/Cmd + click and hold for classic admin on that menu item only (toolbar Classic mode, but per item).
