FleekDash opens WordPress admin pages inside its own windows. When a page inside a window links to an external site — a plugin's "Connect" or "Authorize" flow (for example Elementor Connect), documentation, upgrade links, or account/payment pages — that link is meant to open in a new browser tab, so the external site gets a full page instead of a frame inside FleekDash.
Most external links already behave this way. If one still loads inside the window (or shows a blank/blocked page inside it), the sections below explain why — and each has a simple fix.
First: update and hard refresh
The logic that sends external links to a new tab lives in the script loaded inside the embedded page. Two things can keep an outdated version of it running:
Outdated FleekDash. Earlier versions only intercepted plain link clicks. Links and buttons that plugins open with JavaScript — the Elementor Connect button is the classic example — could navigate inside the window. Update FleekDash to the latest version.
Stale cached script. After updating, hard refresh (Ctrl + Shift + R on Windows, Cmd + Shift + R on Mac) and clear any caching plugin or CDN layer, so the embedded page picks up the new script.
Cases that can still open inside the window

Open the embedded page in a new browser tab
Every FleekDash window has a New Tab button in its top bar — the small ↗ icon in the window header, next to the other window controls. Clicking it opens the same admin page as a full browser tab, outside the FleekDash shell.
Use it whenever a flow inside the window misbehaves:
Connect/Authorize flows (Elementor, licensing, payment providers)
Pages that redirect to another site
Any screen where an external page renders blank or refuses to load inside the frame
Inside a real browser tab, external links, logins, and OAuth redirects behave normally because nothing is embedded.

If a link or button inside a FleekDash window opens a third-party page inside the window itself — or shows a blank page — it's usually an external site that can't display inside a frame. Update FleekDash and hard refresh first. If it still happens, click the window's New Tab button (the ↗ icon in the window header) to open that admin page as a full browser tab, then continue the flow there.
