Open Dashboard (#/dashboard) and click the Growth Score card to open the Growth Score sheet.
In Events Configuration, click Add Event (or the equivalent to create a new event).
Set:
Event type: Custom
Event name: e.g. External Sale or Shopify Order or Newsletter Signup
Description: e.g. Sales from Shopify (or any external platform)
Points per event: e.g. 10 (each sale/conversion adds 10 points to your score)
Tracking method: Advanced use (we will use the API; the snippet is optional for JS on your own site)
Active: On
Save the event. Note the event ID (you will need it for the API). If the UI does not show it, get it in Step 3.
In Step 3 we will get the event ID and send events from your external platform.
