Understanding Growth Score

1

Many users ask: What is the Growth Score? and How can I use it for external systems? This tutorial answers both. You will learn what the score is, how it is calculated, where to see it, and how to add external or custom events.

What is the Growth Score?

The Growth Score is a single number that reflects how much growth activity happened on your site. It is built from events (e.g. post published, user registered, order completed) and points per event that you configure.

Where you see it: On the Dashboard in the stats area. A KPI card with the current score, optional goal, and progress. Clicking it opens the Growth Score panel with details and event configuration.

What it is for: Track progress over time, set goals, prove results to clients or stakeholders, and feed into Growth Achievements without exporting to spreadsheets.

In short: Growth Score equals the sum of (event occurrences times points per event) for all active events you have defined.

Who this is for

All users: editors, agencies, developers, site owners.
