Do everything from the keyboard

1

You do not have to reach for the mouse. FleekDash is built so you can navigate, search, and run actions from the keyboard. The Command Bar (Ctrl+K or Cmd+K) is the hub: one shortcut to find posts, users, screens, and commands, then Enter to open or run. This tutorial shows how to do it all without leaving the keyboard.

What you will do

  1. Open the Command Bar with Ctrl+K or Cmd+K.

  2. Search for posts, pages, users, comments, menu items, or settings.

  3. Navigate the list with Arrow keys, Enter to open or run, Escape to close.

  4. Use suggestions and recent items to repeat actions quickly.

  5. Rely on keyboard and focus across the admin for a full keyboard-only workflow.

Who this is for

Power users, keyboard-first users, and anyone who needs accessibility.

Ready? Go to Step 2 to open the Command Bar.

In practice

Navigate, search, and run actions from the keyboard with the Command Bar. On this page, What you will do is covered in detail: what it looks like in the admin, the exact controls it exposes, and how it behaves when you use it day to day. Because what you will do is part of the keyboard everything tutorial — a guided, step-by-step walk through a real FleekDash workflow — the settings you touch here interact with the rest of the feature; when in doubt, open the feature overview and follow the docs in order.
